


The CW scooped it up out of development limbo and announced that it would still make a return to the airwaves - albeit featuring adult contestants instead of children, this time. The games were Speed Run 4, Epic Minigames, Hide and Seek Extreme, and Flood Escape. The event started on November 8, 2016, and ended on November 22, 2016.

The Nickelodeon game show series Legends of the Hidden Temple is getting a reboot on The CW, and the network has revealed a new poster and synopsis for its version of the show - check all of that out, below! Legends of the Hidden Temple was originally supposed to premiere on Quibi, but that plan fell through when the short-content streaming service fell apart in face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Legends of the Hidden Temple (2016) is a developer-made event sponsored by the Nickelodeon movie with the same name based on a gameshow from the 90s with the same name.

The gameplay of the game show itself is exactly the same as it's original counterpart but some of the show's ideas will be from ground-up and brand-new eventually. After following the series' conclusion, it aired on the originally supposed to premiere on Quibi but after dealing with COVID-19 problems The CW added the reboot for a 2021 CW roster. The Legends of the Hidden Temple (reboot) was produced by Stone Stanley Productions in association with Nickelodeon and was taped at CBS Studios at The CW in Burbank, California (USA).
